Behind the Browned Butter Pork Chops

This is the first GLUTTON post of the year!  Happy New Year Tootz! That is in case you haven’t been following me on my Instagram.  I bet you’re wondering why I am even cooking with meat.

To satisfy your curiosity, I am expanding my recipes to fit all of my followers requests.  I just tend to lag cause I’m super busy at work.  I would rather work from home.  That’s next on my goals.

Anyway, these pork chops were a donation that I found in my freezer when I came home from work.  So let’s get started!

    Browned Butter Pork Chops Overview

There were two frozen 6 oz. pork chops inside of this package that I had to thaw out.  Once thawed, I used the Gourmet Seasonings rub and slapped and rubbed them piggies down on both sides.  Let them rest to room temperature so that the pork chops won’t be as hard and chewy.

I used a mixture of vegan butter and extra virgin olive oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.  Some recipes calls for unsalted butter, but I had the vegan butter in the fridge already.

Cook the pork chops 5 minutes or until both sides are browned while basting the browned butter mixture over the pork chops to prevent the seasonings from burning.

I decided to use some frozen veggie medleys and used that same left over browned butter to lubricate.  Also use the same pan to make the garlic jazzy ricey.

Hell yeah, I’m a Filipina so I added them garlic fried bits!

    PAIR YOUR PORK CHOPS WITH

    • Easy Teriyaki Green Beans
    • Easy Oven Roasted Red Potatoes Wedges
    • Filipino Garlic Vinegar Sauce (Recommended if you’re into Filipino Foods)

Let me remind you that you can use salt if the flavor lacks your tongue’s tastes buds.  I choose to opt out from sodium due to health concerns.

Hit me up when you make these Browned Butter Pork Chops for your tootz!

Since you’re still voyeuring here, jump on these and try them out:

    • AIR FRYER CRISPY CHICKEN THIGHS
