    SUBSTITUTIONS

Flour Swap: Try using whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour for a nuttier taste.

Nut Alternatives: Substitute pecans with walnuts or almonds for a different flavor profile.

Dairy-Free Option: Use dairy-free margarine and almond or oat milk for a vegan-friendly version.

Apple Varieties: Experiment with different apple varieties like Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Gala for varied tastes and textures.

MORE IDEAS FOR CARAMEL APPLE BISCUITS

Spice Infusion: Add cinnamon, nutmeg, or a dash of cloves to the apple filling for a spiced flavor.

Salty Touch: Cut down the sugar in the apple filling and add a sprinkle of sea salt for a saltier take on these biscuits.

Caramel Enhancement: Infuse the caramel sauce with a touch of vanilla extract or maybe a splash of some Fireball Caramel Apple Cocktail. (You got to tell me if it’s good!)

Glaze Addition: Drizzle some powdered sugar glaze or a caramel glaze on top of the biscuits. Yes, more caramel!

HOW TO STORE CARAMEL APPLE BISCUITS

Refrigeration: For longer storage (up to 3 days), refrigerate the biscuits. Place them in an airtight container or cover them tightly with plastic wrap to prevent them from drying out.

Freezing: These biscuits can also be frozen. Wrap them individually or in layers with parchment paper, then store in an airtight container or freezer bag. They can be frozen for up to 2-3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator or at room temperature before reheating.

    HOW TO REHEAT

Always allow refrigerated or frozen biscuits to come to room temperature or slightly warm before serving for the best taste and texture.

Place the refrigerated or thawed biscuits in a preheated oven at around 300°F for 10-15 minutes or until warmed. Microwaving for short intervals can also work but the texture wont’ be the same.
