Remember when I flashed you Tootz on my Instagram Story about these cookies? I didn’t realize that yall requested this recipe on my direct message.  Sorry for the lag and now here it is.

Delicious and healthy cinnamon peanut butter cookies for a healthy treat!

It was a total random moment cause I had a couple of bananas starting to brown. I’m talking about them UGLY brown ones, Tootz!  They say that the browner the bananas, the sweeter it becomes.  So the browned bananas were perfect to make to bring out the sweetness without adding alot of sugar.

    NUT SENSITIVITY/ALLERGY

If you have a nut allergy with peanuts, sorry – this isn’t for you.  My son has a peanut allergy and it’s rare that I make anything using peanut butter when I’m around him.  When he was younger, I always carried the EPIPen in my purse.  Now that he is in his last year of college, my son has learned to smell his food for nuts when we go out to eat.

If we go to any Asian Restaurants, we ask what type of oil were used and try to not have any nuts included when they cook their dishes.  I must say his “peanut” smell senses are dope! Please make sure to check with the Baker, Chef, cook, or whomever makes your food for the ingredients that were used.  The slightest hint of a nut can affect the individual.  If anything happens, call for emergency!

    THE BREAKDOWN

HOW TO MAKE CINNAMON PEANUT BUTTER BANANA COOKIES

    CINNAMON PEANUT BUTTER BANANA COOKIES

As you can tell, I did make a mess.  This was a capture of what I posted on my Instagram story.  All you need to do is mash  your bananas in a bowl with a with a potato masher.  If you don’t have one, a fork will do.

    CINNAMON PEANUT BUTTER BANANA COOKIES

Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

Grab a 1 tablespoon or more of the dough and flatten it on the parchment paper.  Use a fork to make designs on top. (I used a fork to flatten the dough and didn’t care what design came out. LOL!)

    CINNAMON PEANUT BUTTER BANANA COOKIES

Bake for 10-12minutes. Cool on a cookie rack. Makes 18-20 cookies depending on how big you make them.

If you want to add a variation of nuts, try adding my Brown Sugar Walnuts to compliment more of a nutty flavor.

Let’s get ready to smack on these cinnamon peanut butter banana cookies right now!
