Can we get a drumline formation with these Crispy Baked Kickin Chicken Drumettes? Let’s drop some beats with these chicks!
Seriously, this is a little remix of my Banana Ketchup Glazed Chicken Wings. If you haven’t seen it, I made it back when I first started my blog back in 2015.
Both of these wings/drumettes would be great AppeTEASERz for the Memorial Day weekend coming up. Though this recipe is made for baking, you may use the sauce as the marinade.
Just dump everything in a bowl and marinate overnight. Pop them on the BBQ grill and grill away. I am no BBQ grill expert so I assume just BBQ them over coals with a DRANK on hand. You might as well pour your liquor over them to give the drumettes a drunken flavor too. LOL! I’m just messing around….
Soo, let’s kick it up a notch and get these drumettes line going.
Crispy Baked Kickin Chicken Drumettes
Big Warning! Please use Baking Powder! Not Baking Soda. Google the science behind the two ingredients yourself. Basically, when you use baking powder, your chick’s drumettes skin will be crispier because of the fat and baking powder combined. Just like her skin is tanning with tanning lotion. That is the main goal here. Was that a good analogy?
These chicks must be dry. Make sure you have a lot of paper towels on hand. Use a clean kitchen towel if you have to. This helps the chicken wings to crisp up more.
What did we learn again??
Do not use baking soda or substitute it. It is not the same. Don’t be a bobo head and come at me that I didn’t warn you. You probably didn’t read this- SMH!
Aight I’m Outro…
