These Easy Teriyaki Green Beans are Sweet and Tasty! Perfect to have alone or paired as a side dish to your favorite meal.
“EWW Green Beans?” Believe me, I used to not like them when I was younger. I was forced to eat and then finish them or else I wouldn’t get any dessert. I think cause my green beans were made the “Filipino” way. I remember they were so awful and salty! Then one day my mumzy told me that the saltiness came from they soy sauce and little salty fishes that were added to the green beans.
Now that I’m older and trying to watch what I eat, I came across meal prepping back in 2015. (Also when I started this blog). Back then, it was all about fit foods and eating clean. I was so into eating clean, that I ate food in its whole form or at least tried to and include ingredients that were healthier. I followed so many Fit Instagramers and mimicked the clean foods that they would make. Seriously, check out my Instagram and scroll all the way to the bottom.
Many times, they would have a lot of meal prep Mondays going on. They would include protein, carbs, and veggies. The top picks for veggies used were either asparagus, green beans, or broccoli’s. I would bake a lot of chickens or ground chicken/turkey and included various types of veggies as my sides. As far as carbs goes, I had white jasmine rice at the time. HELLO! Filipinos always have rice in their pantry!
Easy Teriyaki Green Beans Overview:
I huddled these Easy Teriyaki Green Beans with Jasmine Rice and this tasty Sweet Ground Chicken. It’s totally perfect to bring as a meal prep idea for your lunch or dinner if you work those late hours.
Sometimes I just eat these these Easy Teriyaki Green Beans with rice itself. The saucy sauce makes it addicting against the carbs with no flavor. Other times, I like to have them with quinoa.
MY RECOMMENDATIONS
I try to use ingredients with no salt or have low sodium. If you feel the need to add salt to this easy Teriyaki Green Beans, by all means do so for your taste benefits. (Please note, I am not your Doctor nor your Nutritionist).
You can mix these Easy Teriyaki Green Beans with any protein. I’m sure you gluttons love them with a juicy piece of steak! In fact, let’s go fancy with these Easy Teriyaki Green Beans and pair these up with my Browned Buttered Pork Chop or my Maple Lemon Chicken Thighs.

That looks spectacular! I love dressing up my veggies like this. Just wondering how much 1/2 bag of green beans is? I’m from Norway, so I’m guessing the sizes of the bags may vary too.
