    BEHIND THE EGG SALAD SANDWICH

    Garlicky Egg Salad Sandwich Stacked

Which came first?  The Garlic or The Egg Salad?

Fortunately, the answer is both that turned into this heart healthy Garlicky Egg Salad Sandwich!

HOW TO MAKE THIS GARLICKY EGG SALAD SANDWICH

You’ll want to grab your small ghetto sauce pan, eggs, and water.  Boil the eggs (in a sauna – LOL) for about 15 minutes.  Then let them sit for another 10 minutes after turning the heat off.  Some dump the water out and let them sit, others dump the water and then add cold water.  Do what ever method works for you.  The point is to get them hard boiled.

Next, get your eggs naked and dump your hard boiled eggs in a bowl, mash them into chunks, and mix all the rest of the ingredients.  Don’t forget about the Garlic! It’s a great source for the heart, lowers blood pressure and cholesterol.  (I left mine in the fridge to chill for about 30 minutes.)  I did not use Salt because you’ll be getting the sodium from the mayo and dijon mustard but feel free to omit or substitute any of the ingredients.

Spread the egg mixture onto your bread of choice.  I toasted the breads and made 3 Garlicky Egg Salad Sandwiches.

Now, it’s your turn to make this sandwich!
