DIET TRENDSETTERS SUBSTITUTIONS
VEGAN – Instead of chicken, replace with tofu just like my Peanutty Garlic Tofu Bowl.
KETO – If you’re concerned about the sugar contents, substitute honey with monkfruit sweetner. As far as the peanut butter, use this keto peanut butter. It’s good too.
STORAGE
Store in a sealed airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days. You can reheat in the microwave for a few minutes.
If you want it crispier, bake in the over at 400F for 10 minutes, turning halfway through or air fry for about 5 minutes.
TIPPY TIP
Just becareful cause the peanut butter can burn and you will have an aweful taste. The caramelization from the honey and peanut butter heats faster than the chicken wing itself.
Use a thermometer. The chickens should be cooked at 165°F (74°C).

I cooked as described (on parchment paper) except I only had 8 wings in my pack. My chicken was undercooked. There was blood dripping inside once I cut them open to check if they were done. I cooked them for an additional 10 minutes and they were all not done. My husband asked me why such a short cook time, and we both expected to bake chicken wings for at least 45 minutes at 350. I’m not sure what I’m missing. But hope we don’t get food poisoning. Please let me know if I read something wrong.

Hi Jasmyn, apologies for your chicken not turning out undercooked. The measurements and cooking times are meant for a dozen of the little chicken wings (drummettes) and thawed. This is why, baking times are a bit faster. If you’re baking with regular sized chicken wings, then increase the baking time to 400F degrees. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-45 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, turning halfway through the cooking time. Using a thermometer will help too. The chickens should be cooked at 165°F (74°C). Hope this helps.
