    Food Bloggers Resources Guide

    RESOURCES PAGE FOR FOOD BLOGGERS

    WORDPRESS THEME

You might want to choose a theme to make your website pretty.  I started off with a free theme on WordPress.com back in 2015.  Then, I used the Kale Pro theme for about 2 years. The theme came with a recipe card that you don’t have to purchase.  If you are starting out, you may want to use Kale Pro first once you get a little knowledge of the basic codes.

    STUDIO PRESS THEMES

Build amazing, mobile-responsive WordPress digital experiences with 36 easy-to-use, premium themes powered by our Genesis Framework, featuring built-in SEO and security, and all included in your WP Engine plan.

    LEGAL TEMPLATES FOR YOU BLOG

You’ll want to purchase this bundle of legal templates to use on your website in order to protect your blog.  These templates were created by a lawyer, Amira who is also a blogger herself.  Please use my affiliate link below to purchase this bundle.  She also has a DOPE Facebook group called ASelfGuru – Biz Blog Community that I’m a member in.  Come and join us here!

The Legal Bundle includes the following:

    • Privacy Policy
    • Disclaimer
    • Terms and Conditions
    • The Legal Bundle for your Website

If you are an Independent Contractor like me, you will also want to grab these two templates:

    • Independent Contractor Contract
    • Confidentiality Agreement (NDA)

For Food Bloggers or any Bloggers who do Sponsored Posts. A sponsored posts contract is an agreement between you and the brand/company who is sponsoring content on your website. It protects you and your business from legal disputes that can arise.

This sponsored posts contract includes all the legalese you need to protect yourself legally and financially.  Here is a Sponsored Post Contract template you can use:

    AD NETWORK

With customized ad designs and quality demand for my inventory, Media.Net has offered me the whole
package. I highly recommend you check this network out. In fact, if you sign up via my link here, you can avail a 10% bonus!

    NAUGHTY KITCHEN’S LOGO

Naughty Kitchen’s logo is designed by Word Illusion – Custom Ambigrams by Tiffany Harvey.  The type of design is called AMBIGRAM where you read a word one way, then the other way is another word.  Flip my logo around!

Tiffany is the dopest Artist and have used her for about 10 years now because of her unique style.  Tiffany has always designed my watermarks and logos.  Seriously, check her out at Word Illusion.

    SCHEDULING

I’m always busy and it’s always hard to find time to schedule on Pinterest.  I use Tailwind and it helps when I’m caught up with my busy schedule.  You’ll thank me later when you use Tailwind!  Tailwind is the smartest way to manage your presence across the visual web (Pinterest & Instagram). Tailwind is an official partner of both Pinterest and Instagram and offers a complete suite of marketing tools including Smart Scheduling, Analytics & Monitoring, Content Discovery, Promotion, and more.  I highly recommend jumping on Tailwind once you start pinning and posting on Instagram or Pinterest!

If you want to become a Tailwind Affiliate,  Grab your affiliate link by clicking HERE.

    MY CAMERA

I use the Sony A5100 camera to take pictures of food and recipes.  I know it’s an old model, but I like the fact that it’s compact and can slip into my purse.  It’s comfy on my small hands as I am petite.  I highly recommend the Sony A5100 for these conveniences.

    STORAGE

I keep all my food pictures in my computer but I travel from time to time and I do not want to lose every thing! I decided to purchase this portable External Hard drive.  It’s so convenient cause it’s small and holds up to 2TBs!

    FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY

If you would like to improve your photography, take it to the next level by using  Tasty Food Photography .  I have learned alot by reading this book.  I have improved the quality of my photos on my Instagram.

You can read the Tasty Food Photography in any device. I’m usually on my laptop but also have read it on my iPhone 6.  Download this Tasty Food Photography eBook here.

    NAUGHTY KITCHEN FOOD CERTIFICATION

There are many ways to earn a certificate, but I decided to choose International Open Academy’s Online courses to enhance a little bit of knowledge, so I can throw them onto my blog when I talk about certain dietary needs for my family.  I have taken these courses personally and have earned a few certificates.  They are super easy, and you can go on your pace.  The only thing is, is that you have about 60 days to complete the course in order to earn your certificate. You do get your certificate through a PDF file or can order a real copy yourself for an added charge.

These are not your 4-year types of degrees, but if you are interested in a few courses to earn a certificate in Plant Based Cooking or Intro To Whole Foods Cooking, feel free to try these out! Right now, I finished the Diet and Nutrition Course.  Let’s be study buddies!? Click here to enroll!

    NAUGHTY KITCHEN STASH

I grew up with hand me down items so I always mention on my posts about busting out your ghetto pans and saucepans.  I feel you on being on budget.  I hope these resources and the links below help your budgeted toys in your kitchen.
